(Slayer Scent) )
He paused on the steps of the small plane he had taken to this remote corner of Africa.
The smells emanating from the plane seemed foreign in this untouched land; the heated metal dripped iron down his throat.
He waved the pilot off, hefting his pack.
His eyes flashed green in the sun, his sensitive nose catching the sparking scent of Slayer.
So he’d found her, finally.
He huffed out a happy sound
Giles would be pleased.
Xander headed out to welcome another Slayer into the fold.

Instead of the petite blond he was expecting, Xander was treated to a startling sight.
Graham Miller, of the silvery-blue eyes, deliciously tousled hair, beautiful face, and dumbfounded, vulnerable expression.
*Yummy!* whispered his animal side, even as Xander allowed the White Knight to raise his head and go rescue the hapless soldier.

I just got this in an e-mail, so I thought I would throw it out into the cosmos, because some of them are just that good.

Anthology of Mythical Creatures

  • Sep. 2nd, 2007 at 4:28 PM
Horatio- Uh huh

So, school has been back in session but is only just settling down. Summer was way too short as usual, and school bites. Despite all of that, I managed to do some writing over the summer. I started a, well, the best description would be an Anthology of Mythical Creatures. Short stories, or poems, depending on how inspired I was feeling about different mythological creatures. So, well, here is the first one.

Title: Freedom’s Warrior
Author: Shadow Spire
Rating: PG-13 for mild violence-type themes
Warnings: none, really
Summery: The end doesn’t justify the means
AN: UnBetaed, but constructive criticism very welcome!

Alright, so, I suck; the first one in the "anthology" and it doesn't even really fit the criteria, but, well, I'm posting them chronologically, so bite me!

NOT GONE!

Okay! I told myself that I was not going to be one of those people who starts a journal, makes a few entries, then vanishes. So, here is a little gift!

Title: Actions Speak Louder
Author: Shadow Spire
Rating: PG-13 for mild slashy themes
Warnings: slash, but other than that, none, unless you count enough sap to drown in a warning
Summery: Danny’s had a long day.
AN: UnBetaed, but constructive criticism very welcome!
Also, this is my first (posted) fic, and I'm not sure haw well I pulled off Danny's character or Mac's for that matter... Someone want to tell me? (notice the subtle fishing for feedback? *Hint Hint*)

Happy reading!

WEEEEEEE

YAY! I finally figured out the userpics! well, mostly, i cant figure out how to get the animated one to work. I found this one on lisapahud's wonderful journal and had to adopt it.

Damn, thats another thing i have to figure out. How to make the little link thingy for peoples names...

Someone SHOOT me, PLEASE!

  • Feb. 11th, 2007 at 4:13 PM
Eyrien
Well, I found this thing. A harmless little Drabble generator, you know, where you insert adjectives, adverbs, nouns...body parts....and, well, insanity ensued. read at your own risk.

Title: Crack Horatio/Speed drabbles.
Author: Shadow Spire
Rating: Probably NC-17, though I'm not entirely sure how it got that way...
Warnings: Bad grammer, insanity, improper use of 'anus'(did you know anus was a noun? (it's safer not to ask...))
Summery: Crack!fic, absolute nuttyness. Read at your own risk

So here it goes.

*blinks* I don't believe I'm actually gonna post this thing....

Soooooooooo, howdy!

So, I've managed to get my journal into some form approximating neat, after a lot of experimentation and, well....HORRAY!!!

*blinks*

Well...If I happened to consume a few overly caffeinated drinks in the process...Blah.

So, anyway. The last thing i need to figure out -for now- is usericons. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to upload a usericon. Am i just an idiot? Sooo, if anyone is actually reading this pathetic excuse of a ramble-fest...Help?

Finally

  • Feb. 9th, 2007 at 8:38 AM
Eyrien
So, I finally did it. I made myself a LiveJournal. Now, I just have to convince myself to stop feeling stupid, because I have no idea what to DO with one, now that I have it... Not to mention the fact that I must be more computer illiterate than I thought, considering I haven't the faintest clue what half of the things in the journal set-up MEAN, let alone how to work them. Ah, well, I guess that's what experimentation is for. And now, since no matter what the stupid clock I cant program says, it's 11:30, not 8:30, and I am going to bed.
